With this fragrance you’ll be starting with our custom oriental formula as a base to begin building your bespoke fragrance on top of. This type of scent is characterized by an amber and vanilla base with an assortment of spices on top. Our starting house blend is a combination of amber, vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper. We’ve specifically toned down the spice a little bit in this blend to the bare minimum of what would be considered an oriental to give you room to add a little character of your own. With this blend you’re always welcome to add even more of any of it’s components (amber, vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper), or take it in any direction you’d like. We’ve had great success with any of the aromatic woods, lavender, citrus, or any of the sensual florals like rose or ylang-ylang.
To simplify your fragrance making experience we have divided our gallery of scents into the 3 categories of traditional perfumery. There are Base Notes, Mid Notes, and Top Notes. Each of these evaporates at a different rate, and choosing a variety of each will help you create a well balanced olfactory bouquet.
